CRAFT: Ceramic Teapot/Lidded Jar Handbuilding Workshop

Date: June 24 5-8pm Location: Cave Creek Farm, Trout Lake,Wa Cost: $95.00This one time class will walk participants through the process of rolling out a slab of clay to handbuild a teapot using templates and adding texture and/or slip to personalize work.Participants can bring their own stamps, plants or texture to press or roll into their clay or use some of the items we have to share. All materials and firings are included in the cost of this workshop. Pots will be ready to be picked up on July 7th at the Trout Lake Farmers Market. Wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty. FIBER ARTS: Solar Printing

Date: July 14, 2:00-5:00pm Location: Cave Creek Farm, Trout Lake Wa Cost: $110.00 Learn to make prints using found objects and the power of the sun. This workshop will explore the art of cyanotype solar printmaking. Participants will create 2-3 compositions on cotton fabric which can be used as bandanas, wall hangings, and more! Participants should wear clothing they don't mind getting colorant on. (Ages 16+) |

Dates: August 3 and August 4 Time: 10am-1pm both days. Location: Cave Creek Farm Trout Lake, Wa Cost: $150.00 Join me for this two-day intensive designed to ignite your creativity and enhance your songwriting skills. Together we will explore the fundamentals of songwriting, from melody creation to lyric writing and song structure. Day 1: Explore the essential elements of a song, engage in creative exercises, and begin crafting your own melodies with expert guidance. Day 2: Develop meaningful lyrics, structure your song, and refine your work through collaborative feedback. The session will culminate in an informal performance where you can share your creations and reflect on your creative journey. ( Age 16+) |
